Sometimes jewelry stores will buy your broken gold, or you will often see in the paper an ad for someone who says will buy old coins, estate, jewelry, etc. I think the price will be pretty much the same wherever you go though.

First it was the car insurance comparison adverts that drove me insane now the TV has suddenly become loaded with people trying to buy gold. All about free posting gold to companies and they then send you some money. Sounds ridiculous and it seems to come out of now where? Why now?

People on ebay are selling gold at less than spot value, where are they buying there gold from.

I want to start a business on ebay like a few people have, but I cant find any dealer that would sell it to me for less than market price. Am i not looking hard enough?

Or did those people just buy lots of gold and wait for the price of gold to go up?

Sometimes what may look like a good deal may not be, or maybe it is, but if they’re selling it on the cheap, why aren’t investors picking it up ?

Ebay is a computer game. Vendors can place bids for their own merchandise by using alias names and accounts, so if you don’t know the value of what you’re buying – or who you’re buying it from, I suggest you stay away.

If you’re in it for your own business, then I suggest contacting Ebay for a small business start up kit OR you could actually request information on the companies making such claims.

In the last 2 months or so I have noticed at least a dozen new places up open that just buy gold. Thats all they do buy gold from people. Why are people go nuts with this cash for gold stuff. Because gold is a stable commodity in an unstable economy. The cash for gold business however are pretty much scalpers. It is a business in the end and they are not paying out as much as the gold is worth. But if you have gold and you need cash, it’s the thing to do. Its a far better deal than one would get from a pawn shop.

all the commercial gimmicks are scams, they offer less then half the value. if i were you i would sell privately on ebay or craigslist. dont let those cash for gold screwballs rip you off. theyre being investigated for fraud anyways

The best way to sell precious metals is to sell directly to a refiner. You can find a few companies that will buy your gold online here: http://www.goldintomoney.com You’ll get fair market prices and the process is free. They’re better than going to a pawn shop because pawn shops are just middle men and your metals will just end up in the same place.
